Andrea Basso, PhD (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, EPFL CH and Stanford Univ. USA) is currently serving as CTO of MITO technology where he has responsibility for the definition and the evolution of MITO strategy and identification of key technology areas. He is also serving as adjunct associate professor at the University of Victoria BC (CA).
As business angel, startup evaluator and mentor, Dr. Basso is advising several European and US incubators and Investments funds focused on the early stage technology fostering. He is the co-founder of 42Accelerator (www.42accelerator.co).
As a Research Manager with 22 years of research experience on multimedia technologies in Bell Labs and AT&T Labs –Research USA, he has developed innovative services and architectures for IPTV and Over The Top (OTT) as well as the associated Intellectual Property.
Dr. Basso has published 60+ papers, several books chapters and has more than 80 granted patents in the context of Intellectual Property. He is a frequent speaker in international scientific conferences and events.
Inventor and author, Pietro has been involved in the incubation and acceleration of technologies with a focus on healthcare and marketing technology since 1993.
Expert at translating technologies from medical to social applications he has launched several companies such as Contactum, Newbiquity, Olomax and BodyCloud.
As Vice President of the Foundation for African Children with Cardiac Disease and Manager of technologies for a leading cardiac hospital, Pietro is focused on technology as a pragmatic solution to real world problems.

He joined IBM Italy in 1990 where he has covered numerous roles, with growing managerial responsibility around innovation technology and research. He created and guided the entire technical structure of IBM CEEMEA, which includes Russia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Since 2011, as director of technology innovation and research, he has been leading all the technical operations of IBM Italy for the board. In 2018 he first created and then led the IBM Italy research lab in Bologna, maintaining the above responsibilities. In November 2019 he founded as president and CEO rnbgate with offices in Milan, Trieste, Bologna, Ancona, Villaguardia, Eastern Europe, Dubai, USA, China, Israel, he is also Vicepresident strategy & corporate relations Bio4dreams.
He sits on the board of direction of ISSNAF (Italian Scientist and Scholars North America Foundation) which represents all the Italian scientists in the USA, where he is president of the Research & innovation chapter; of AAIIC Association of Italian Academics in China; of Italian Confindustria research board; of Milano Ricerche and University Ca Foscari Venice.

Paolino Piccolo is a software enigineer focused on Tecnology, Corporate Structure and Human Resources. He was founder and CEO of Eniwe, and member of Studiosistemi.com, Enisoft and Ceda Informartica. He had an extensive experience in trade related technical of ICT in several departments of Olivetti as general director.
During his college studies, he has taught “Sytems and Automations” at the ICT of Treviso. He is currently president of Eniac Spa, an ICT group holding of Padova, Monza, Roma e Udine that he founded in 1986.
He has significant skills in corporate management, particularly in the process redeployment field, digital marketing and sales patterns. In 2004, he has dealt with Business Consulting in accordance with the NeuroEmprise model for the enterprise grow in the innovation environment. He has partecipeted actively in the developing of franchising models in France, Spain, Brasil and India, in collaboration with Betheboss. In 2012, in partnership with a medical professionals team, he created a research unit in the field of cognitive enhancement in human researches by founding Braincare srl.
He is an expert in process optimizations for change and he strongly believes that innovation is the key for the corporate and industrial development.
Tom studied literature at the University of Chicago and is known for his work as an international scientific and business communicator concentrating on early-stage technology companies and innovation management.
Tom has been interim CEO of technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
In the past few years he has also been involved in encouraging Social Impact Investing as a force for positive change and Peace, especially in developing economies under conflict.
Formerly Managing Director of Biopolo Ticino, Director of Development and Communications at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine and lecturer in the faculties of Visual Communication and Interaction Design at the applied sciences university SUPSI.
Silvia Panigone, PhD, is General Partner and Founder of ADYA, a Swiss based company working globally that supports start up & SMEs characterized by an innovative and technological fingerprint, in creating value from their business.
Silvia is also a Start Up Coach of the Commission for Technology Innovation (CTI), Swiss Confederation, and Independent Board Member of several tech companies worldwide.
She was former Managing Director, Europe at I-Bankers Direct, an equity funding web-platform, Headquartered in New York and Advisor for I-Bankers Securities, a US investment banking involved in about 100 transactions for overall $7bn.
She formerly served as Advisor in BSI bank, responsible for venture investments in technological sectors with dedicated vehicles, and previously Fund Manager in BSI-Healthcapital, a venture capital firm, part of Generali group investing worldwide in the healthcare sector.
She had a board seat in several US- and EU-based companies bringing few of them up to an exit. Silvia previously acquired an extensive experience in the pharma sector in operational and managerial positions with Bracco SpA and Quintiles Inc.
She achieved a PhD in Molecular Oncology and a Management of Economical resources master at SDA Bocconi.
